Ever since I was a child I can remember thoughts and sensations. Intuitions. Children’s things? Amongst them, my fascination for the universe and the stars. So many, so small, so bright. Like the ants; so many, so small, and always with something to do. Later on, studying science by day and art by night, it seemed to me illogical that science and art should be considered as separate things. Now, without doubt; the great importance of small things. And what satisfaction when science confirms the truth of an intuition.
I remember myself being especially drawn to natural science modules. My taste is for technology and for ecological civilisation. For rivers, lagoons and estuaries. For the sea and its tidal pools… for worlds within worlds that create yet more worlds… for life within life that creates oceans of life.
All of these concerns, intuitions and thoughts have caused me to develop ideas that try to artistically represent the magnificence of small things and demonstrate their need for protection.
